Air Pollution: Its Origin and Control

Wayne T. Davis is Professor and Program Coordinator of the Environmental Engineering Program in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dr. Davis has taught courses and conducted research in the areas of air quality management and air pollution control since 1974. Professor Davis received the Lyman A. Ripperton Award for Outstanding Educator in the field of air pollution control from the Air and Waste Management Association in 1990. He is a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP), which is a certification issued by the Institute for Professional Environmental Practice. Dr. Davis is a Fellow of A&WMA, where he has served in a number of volunteer positions and was the co-editor of the revised Air Pollution Engineering Manual , a wellknown reference book for those working in this field.
